Future Leader: Divya Malhotra

Divya

Exploring the design of the Climate and Sustainability Programme 2026/27

Meet Divya Malhotra, the Future Leaders Project Assistant working on the Climate & Sustainability Programme 2026-27.

Divya recently graduated from The University of Manchester with an MEnvSci in Environmental Science, specialising in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation Biology. A strong advocate for student partnership and collaborative learning, she was awarded Associate Fellowship of Advance HE (AFHEA) for her contributions to the student experience.

Divya will consider, explore and propose the design of the Climate & Sustainability Programme 2026-27. This will involve identifying potential courses and academic leads, engaging in discussion around their involvement next year and co-designing project proposals to be opened to students in 2026.

The project aligns with University missions around recognising and rewarding student and staff initiatives, and supporting individual researchers and lecturers as well as course-level development. Two projects have already been identified and will be part of existing School or Tripos curriculum reviews.
