Cambridge Zero Director, Prof Emily Shuckburgh, joined the UK government’s chief scientific adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance, in giving an emergency briefing to 70 parliamentarians, warning of the dangers of the climate crisis and urging them to act. They were also joined by Prof Stephen Belcher from the Met Office and Prof Gideon Henderson, the chief scientific adviser at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
