Connect with postgraduates interested in climate change research.
The Cambridge Zero Postgraduate Academy is a network of postgraduate students from all disciplines at the University of Cambridge. It provides a space for connection, discussion, and collaboration on climate change and net zero research.
The programme of activities and events throughout the year spans symposiums, skills-building workshops, and networking events. This is organised by an elected steering committee of twelve postgraduate students from different disciplines who lead the Academy.
Postgraduates are invited to apply for one of these steering committee vacancies by 11:59pm on Monday 20th October:
- President: Oversee the overall operation of the Academy, lead meetings, and represent the Academy within Cambridge Zero and the wider University community.
- Secretary: Manage membership records and meeting administration including writing the agenda and taking minutes. Manage membership records and meetings.
- Treasurer: Handle the budget with support from Cambridge Zero, ensuring that all activities are appropriately funded, and costs are managed within the allocated budget.
- Communications Officer (x2): Lead all communication efforts, including newsletters, social media, and website updates to keep our community informed and engaged.
- Events Officers (x8): Plan and execute a variety of events, including workshops, training sessions, and the annual research symposium. Events Officers will work closely with the other committee members to ensure successful delivery of all Academy activities.
