In this infographic we explore Yue Zhu's research with the Centre for Risk in the Built Environment! Yue has developed machine learning to predict the movements of inhabitants in Sichuan, China. Their movements are then mapped on top of flood predictions to better inform policy-makers on which settlements are at high risk of suffering from flood damage. Yue's research is one step in climate resilience, with the potential to improve urban planning.
